What happens on the day
On arrival some centres may take you through a short medical questionnaire. The use of the tank will then be explained. You can float in the dark or you can keep the lights on' in some centres you can even watch TV. You can float in silence or you can listen to your choice of music. You can dream and contemplate or you can learn by listening to special tapes while you are floating.
The amazing thing is that floating this way is not just pleasant it's really relaxing. A flotation tank session removes the postural and contact loads from your body. Floating stimulates blood flow while removing stress. While your body relaxes your mind is refreshed.
